Meet the Chef’s

Growing up in the small village of Combaya, Sita spent many nights in the kitchen learning traditional recipes from his Grandma. He has now brought the spicy flavours of West Africa to Caboolture/Morayfield area with a rich menu of traditional flavours. Sita met his soulmate, Kristie, in Sydney; they decided to open Sita’s Skewers to bring their passion for cooking and traditions to the people of Australia. Their core belief is that food is what unites us, it brings friends, families and communities together.

African Cuisine

African Cuisine/BBQ Grill: Sita’s Skewers creates delicious Charcoal BBQ Skewers & Kebabs which is full of flavour. The Meat is specially marinated in a recipe passed down from family members and is complemented by the freshly made West African Ginger drink. The sides comprise of freshly made tabouli, rice, charcoal corn and hummus dip. A signature dish is the Marinated Banana chips which is a unique dish but a must-have.

  We visited the markets this afternoon. My brother and I have found our new favourite comfort food. Everything about the meal we had was incredible, especially how generous it is.   We are from Victoria and had seen Sita's Skewers being advertised on Facebook so we decided to stop into the Bike Markets to try. It was the best decision ever, the food was AMAZING, so fresh! We had the mega grill and every single thing we ate had a unique flavour, the banana chips are delicious. The owners Kristie and Sita are such beautiful people with the best customer service.   Amazing food and even more wonderful staff who are so friendly. Definitely recommend checking this out if you have dietary requirements! The lady at the front is so lovely and understanding, great to hold a conversation with. The man at the back equally so and makes the most delicious meat, so tender and warm, it’s cooked right in front of you and is served fresh off the grill. The whole atmosphere created by them is so comforting. 10/10 recommended, what a lovely experience!!!

  Could smell the smokiness from the carpark! The chicken is super juicy and sweet, wish there was like 1/4 or 1/2 chicken options. Fries are amazing too! Got the mixed grill, really good value. Will definitely be back for more 😋
